A $25,000 goal to receive a matching grant through IHCDA's CreatINg Places initiative has been met as of March 26, 2024 and we should be receiving the funding soon!


MEESE CHAPEL (current day)

MACKEL BARN PROJECT:The Horsemen Association is currently in the process of reconstructing the historic Mackel Barn which was moved from northern Allen County to our farm south of Auburn.  The 1860's vintage barn will be a tremendous addition to our museum campus and provide a first hand look at where working draft animals were housed when they were the "farm tractor" on every farm!  Your support is needed to help raise funding for this project.  Contributions may be tax deductible to this non-profit charitable organization.



PROJECT UPDATE:  The barn is 90% complete with only a few more jobs to go!  
Thanks to all that supported the restoration of this historic barn!  We hope the barn and chapel will make a great community event site for all to enjoy!
